Steel Point

We’ve been operating out of Plot Y3/6 in Loha Mandi for quite some time now. This part of the Naraina Industrial Area is always buzzing with activity, mostly trucks coming in and out at all hours. We deal in all sorts of steel products, from basic rods to flat sheets. It is not a polished office with air conditioning; it is a working yard where the floors are concrete and there is iron dust everywhere. I usually get here early to open the gate and check the inventory lists against what is actually sitting in the stacks. Sometimes the counts are off, and we have to spend an hour moving things around to find a specific order. My uncle started this place, and we just kept it going the same way he did. We don't have a website or a sales department. If someone needs steel, they usually just drive over or give us a call on the landline. We have a small tea stall nearby that brings us glasses of hot chai while we work. The crane we use is a bit old and makes a lot of noise, but it gets the heavy lifting done. We don't use fancy jargon or try to act bigger than we are. It is just a local business where we try to be helpful to the builders and fabricators who come by. Some days are slow, while others are a total mess of deliveries and paperwork. We just keep the yard open and do our best to get things loaded up right.
