Star Fabrication

Star Fabrication is tucked away in the Jindal Oil Mill Compound over on G.T. Road in Shahdra. It’s an old industrial area and you can definitely tell. There’s a lot of history in these buildings. Our space, No. 1/560, is where we spend most of our hours. It’s not a pretty place, but it’s where we get the metal work done. You can smell the grease and the metal as soon as you walk into the compound. We’ve got stacks of iron and steel leaning against the walls and tools spread out over the workbenches. Most days, it’s just the sound of grinders and the hum of the machines. We don't go in for big signs or polished floors because that doesn't help us bend or weld anything. Shahdra is a busy part of Delhi and G.T. Road is always moving, so we feel like we’re right in the middle of everything. We’ve known the guys in the other units for years. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s a practical life. We don’t have fancy titles or a big board of directors. It’s just a group of guys who know how to work with their hands. If someone needs something made out of metal, they know where to find us in the compound. We just keep doing what we know and getting the daily tasks finished.
