You have to look behind the Bihari Colony and the main bus stand to find us here at Plot No P 41. We are on Road No 15 in Gali No 15, which is a busy part of Shahdara where there is always something going on. Our shop isn't very large so we often have to do the welding work right near the doorway to get enough light. There are sparks flying most of the day and the smell of hot metal is everywhere. We make gates, frames, and whatever else people in the neighborhood ask for. It’s a noisy spot with the grinders going and the hammers hitting the anvils. We have been in this same alley for a long time and the locals know us by name. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit and wait, which gives us a chance to talk to the shopkeepers next door. The floor is covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening before we lock the shutters. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to get the orders finished on time. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our hands and the tools we've had for years. People just drop by when they need something fabricated or repaired. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just worry about the next job on the bench.
