United Publication

You can find United Publication over at L-4 in Shastri Nagar. We are pretty close to the Inderlok station area, so it’s always quite a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the street. Our building is mostly used for the actual printing and binding work. It’s not a quiet office where people sit in silence. You can always hear the machines running in the back or the sound of paper being cut. We deal with all sorts of books and pamphlets. Most of our staff have been doing this for a long time, so they know the machines better than anyone else. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just take the orders as they come in and try to get them finished. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a spot to park on the narrow street, so we have to carry the heavy boxes out ourselves. It’s a lot of physical labor. The floors are usually covered in little scraps of paper by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy waiting room for customers. Usually, if you stop by, you’ll just see us working around the big tables. It’s a practical place for people who need things printed without any fuss. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing for years, one page at a time, and hope the machines stay running as they should so we don't fall behind.
