Paras Spices Pvt. Ltd is located on the second floor of Bhikaji Cama Bhawan, right in the middle of the busy Bhikaji Cama Place. It’s a major commercial hub, so there’s always a stream of people in suits or delivery uniforms rushing around the plaza. Our office at 205 is a bit more laid back than the street outside would suggest. We deal with spices, but being in an office building means we don't do the heavy grinding here; that happens elsewhere. Here, it’s mostly about the numbers, the orders, and the quality checks. The office has big windows that look out over the courtyard, which is nice when you need a break from the computer screen. It can get a bit crowded with all the sample jars and folders we have lying around. Most of us have been here for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building itself is older, with those wide hallways and heavy doors. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and tea because the stuff from the machine downstairs isn't great. It’s a typical office environment—some days are slow and others are a complete rush to meet deadlines. We don't have any flashy signs, just a nameplate by the door. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving in the spice trade. It's just what we do to keep the business going.
