Our small workshop is located at No. 255 E/ 2 in Munirka. If you walk in, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the smell of paint and maybe some wood shavings. We do a lot of different things here, from framing pictures to working on new pieces. The floor is rarely clean because there’s always something being cut or painted. We have brushes soaking in jars and stacks of frames leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a big project going on. People from the neighborhood drop by with all sorts of things they want us to look at. We don't have a big storefront with lights, just a simple door that stays open when the weather is nice. Most of our day is spent at the workbench. It’s quiet work, usually, unless we’re using the saw. We’ve been in Munirka for a bit now and we like the vibe of the place. It’s a busy area, but our corner feels a bit more relaxed. We don't use any fancy machines, just our hands and some basic tools. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, and we end up staying late under a single bright light. It’s just how art goes sometimes. It’s a messy, honest way to make a living, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We keep a radio playing in the background for some noise.
