Metalic Impressions India Pvt Ltd is set up in Delhi, specifically in Mayur Vihar Phase-3. Our spot is Jay Prakash Joshi Pocket B-6/14H. If you know Delhi, you know Mayur Vihar is a packed place with lots of different pockets and blocks. We are right there in the middle of it. We do a lot of metal work and impressions, and the noise sometimes keeps the neighbors on their toes, though we try to be quiet when we can. The office is small and full of metal plates and engraving tools. I usually spend my morning checking the mail and seeing what needs to be stamped or cut. It’s a bit messy with the metal shavings, but that’s just part of the business. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and you are right there where the work happens. Jay Prakash Joshi Pocket is where I grew up, so staying here for the business made sense to me. It feels like home even when I'm working late. The commute isn't too bad for the guys who work with me. We have our own way of doing things that might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We just keep at it every day, making sure the metal looks the way it’s supposed to before it goes out the door. It’s a simple operation in a busy city.
