Aiba Tex

Our place, Aiba Tex, is tucked away in Mehrauli at No. 266-d, specifically in Ward No. 2 near Bhunya Chowk. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy it gets with people moving around and the narrow lanes always full of life. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical workspace where we handle our textile stuff every day. The building is a bit old, and sometimes the power acts up, but we make it work. Most days start early with the sound of the market waking up outside. We spend a lot of time surrounded by rolls of fabric and stacks of papers. There is usually a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, and the tea guy comes by twice a day which is the highlight for most of us. We have been at this spot for a while now, and everyone around here knows us. It is a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, and we have to move things around just to find a place to sit. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We do not really bother with fancy decorations. The walls have some marks, and the desks are cluttered with samples. It feels like home to us though. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything is sorted before we head home in the evening.
