We’ve been at Shop No. 20 in Ram Nagar Market for a while now. Paharganj gets pretty busy, especially around Qutab Road, so there's always something going on outside the door. Most days it’s just us here at Lakshmi Arts, dealing with whatever work comes in through the entrance. People stop by when they’re walking through the market. Sometimes the traffic is a mess, but we manage to get things done. It’s a small place, nothing fancy at all. We handle the daily tasks, making sure people get what they asked for. If you know the area, you know where to find us. It’s right there in the middle of everything. We keep our tools ready and just focus on the job at hand. It gets dusty, and the noise from the street never really stops, but that’s just how it is in New Delhi. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the shop and the work we do. Some regulars have been coming to us for years. They know we aren't about big talks. We just do the work. The shop stays open late most nights because there’s always one more thing to finish up. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing long emails. Usually, someone just yells from the street or walks in to check on their stuff. It’s a simple way of running things, but it works for us and the people around Ram Nagar.
