L-Comps & Impex (P) Ltd. is over at 809-A in the International Trade Towers at Nehru Place. Nehru Place is always a bit of a whirlwind. There are people everywhere, tech shops on every corner, and it’s generally pretty loud. Being up in the tower gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the ground. The office itself is pretty standard for a place like this. We’ve got some desks, a few partitions, and a lot of cables running around. It’s a busy environment because the trade business doesn't really slow down much. We don't have a receptionist in a fancy uniform; whoever is closest to the door usually just looks up and says hello. The air conditioning in the building is usually blasting, so we often have sweaters on even when it’s boiling outside. We spend our days looking at shipping lists and handling the impex side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office décor. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve had for a decade. It’s functional and it gets the job done. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the smog of the city, but it feels like we’re in the middle of everything. It’s just a regular office day for us. We drink far too much tea while we wait for deliveries to clear, but that is just how the industry goes.
