If you ever find yourself on Gurudwara Road in Karol Bagh, you might notice us at No. 250/7. We are Dhirsons Diamonds. This part of Delhi is always crowded and noisy, but that’s just how it is. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We spend most of our days behind the counter, looking at stones and helping people who walk in. It’s a busy street, so we get all kinds of visitors. Some are looking for something specific, and others are just browsing. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just this shop on the road. The street name comes from the nearby Gurudwara, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. We’ve been at this location for a good while. The lights in the shop are bright so we can see what we’re doing. It’s a practical space. We don’t go in for much decoration. People know us for what we have in the cases. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, but you get used to it after a few years. We just keep the door open and handle things as they come. It’s a decent way to make a living in a place like Karol Bagh. We just focus on the work and the people who stop by.
