Kamal Metal Industries

Kamal Metal Industries is located at 99-4E in Prem Gali. We are in East Babarpur, which is part of the Shahdara area. It’s a very tight-knit neighborhood. The streets are narrow, and you have to be careful when you’re driving through. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of metal being cut or hammered. It’s a noisy place, but that’s how you know we are working. I’ve been in this industry for a long time, starting as an apprentice before opening my own place. We do a lot of custom metal work for people in the area. The walls of the shop are covered in soot and metal shavings. It’s not a clean place, but it’s an honest one. I don’t use a computer for much; most of my sketches and measurements are done on scraps of paper or right on the metal itself. My son helps me with the heavier lifting now that I’m getting older. We have a small bench outside where we sit and have tea in the evening. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who heard about us from a friend. We don’t do any big advertising or have a website. If you want something made, you just come to Prem Gali and look for the blue door. We’ll talk about what you need and see if we can build it for you. It's just simple metalwork done by hand.
