Hastinapur Metals P.Ltd. has been sitting at 8-A in Connaught Place for quite a while now. Being in the heart of the city means we are right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds. Connaught Place has that old colonial feel with the white pillars, though some of them are peeling a bit these days. Our office isn't one of those glass and steel places you see in the newer parts of town. It’s got high ceilings and those heavy doors that creak when you open them. We deal with various metals and industrial materials. The daily routine involves a lot of phone calls and checking prices on the computer. It can get pretty frantic when the market is moving fast. We have a small staff and we’ve all worked together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. Lunch is usually spent getting something from one of the local vendors nearby. The traffic outside 8-A never really stops, so there’s always a hum of cars and buses in the background. We keep our files in big metal cabinets that probably weigh a ton. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a lobby with fancy chairs. People just walk in, we discuss the business at hand, and they go on their way. It’s just how things work here in the center of the city.
