Global Fairs & Media Pvt. Ltd operates out of the Ground Floor of the Express Building, specifically at 9 & 10, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. Working on this famous stretch of road means we are right in the middle of the old media hub. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the thick walls and the high ceilings. Our office is on the ground floor, so we see people walking by the windows all day long. It can be a bit distracting, but it also makes us feel connected to the city. The desks are always piled high with magazines, brochures, and event plans. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always boiling because we drink a lot of tea to stay sharp. The walk from the metro station can be quite a trek in the heat, but it’s a good way to wake up. We spend most of our time staring at screens or having meetings around a scratched wooden table. It’s not a quiet place because there is always some discussion going on about the next big event. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, but since we are on the ground floor, we don’t have to worry about that. It’s a busy, somewhat chaotic environment, but we’ve managed to find our own rhythm in the middle of all the noise and the deadlines.
