Lodhi Road is a place everyone in New Delhi knows, but the Lodhi Road Complex is where we actually stay put. Specifically at number 2275. It's a busy part of the city, right in the middle of everything that happens in the capital. Girdhar Singh Rautella has been based here for a bit, and the area has its own rhythm. You see the same faces every morning when the tea stalls start up. It’s not one of those modern corporate hubs with shiny elevators and security guards asking for ID every five minutes. It’s more lived-in than that. The walls have seen a lot of seasons and the hallways are usually full of people moving around for various government or private work. Living and working out of here means you’re close to the action but also tucked into the residential side of the complex. The address is simple enough to give to the postman, though sometimes the blocks get confusing for new visitors. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making the place look like a magazine photo. It’s functional. There’s a desk, some chairs, and plenty of work to keep us busy. People stop by, we talk, and we get things done. Delhi can be loud and fast, but inside 2275, we just focus on the task at hand and keep it simple. It’s just how we operate. We don't need any special slogans to get through the day.
