This is the regional office for the Directorate Of Marketing And Inspection, located at W-6 in Okhla Phase II. It’s an industrial zone, so the surroundings are mostly factories and large warehouses. Our building is a sturdy, functional place designed for work rather than looks. Inside, you’ll find rows of desks, filing cabinets, and people busy with paperwork. We handle a lot of the inspections and marketing standards for the region. It’s a lot of documentation, checking figures, and making sure everything matches up with the rules. The air outside is often heavy with the smell of nearby manufacturing, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. The office can feel a bit old-fashioned, with stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We have a lot of people coming in for different reasons, so there’s a bit of a waiting area near the front. It’s not a place where things happen in a hurry; we take our time to make sure things are done right. The staff here has been around for a long time and they know the procedures inside out.
