Metal Art Graphy

Our small shop is at 488/3-A-2 on the ground floor, unit 14, in Dilshad Garden Extension 1. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the equipment we have packed in there. We work mostly with metal and engraving, so there is always a bit of a metallic smell in the air. We don’t have a big storefront with windows; it’s more of a workspace where we get things done. The light isn't great, so we have extra lamps over the benches where the fine work happens. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly find us because a friend told them where we are. It’s usually just a couple of us here, hunched over the machines or checking the finish on a piece. The floor is covered in small metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of every day. We aren't a big factory; we do things one at a time. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, so we stay late until it’s finished. We drink tea from the stall around the corner and keep the door open for a bit of air. It’s a quiet life but we like the feeling of making something tangible. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It’s a simple way to run a business. We usually have the radio on some local station.
