Book Sizzler

We are located at No. 63 in Kalu Sarai. It is a very busy area every day because we are so close to IIT and the Vijay Mandal Enclave. There are always students walking around with bags full of notes and heavy books. Book Sizzler is tucked in there among all the coaching centers and the small food stalls that line the street. The shop is usually crowded, especially in the afternoons when the local classes let out. We have stacks of books everywhere, sometimes even on the floor because we simply run out of shelf space to put them. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is kept. My brother and I run the place ourselves. We don't have a fancy catalog system on a computer, so you usually just have to ask us if we have a specific title. We spend a lot of time dusting the covers and talking to students about what they need for their upcoming exams. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop hearing it after you've been here a few years. It is a good spot to be if you like books and seeing people trying to learn new things. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here because we have been in the same spot for a while. It is a busy workspace and we just keep the shelves as full as possible.
