Beri Steels

Beri Steels is located over at No A 9 in Jyoti Nagar. If you know where Durgapuri Chowk is, we are just a short walk from there. It's a busy part of Shahdara, so there's always noise from the street. We deal with steel, so things can get a bit heavy and dusty around here. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy brochures for us. It’s just us doing the daily work. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start moving pieces around. The floor is concrete and shows all the years we’ve spent here. Sometimes the weather makes the shop really hot, but we keep the fans going. It’s a straightforward business. We have different types of steel stacked up, and we try to keep it all sorted so we can find what someone asks for. Dealing with metal means our hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We take our breaks when things quiet down for a minute. People from around the neighborhood come by when they are fixing up their homes or starting a small project. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what the local builders need. It’s been this way for years and we don’t see much reason to change. It’s just work. We keep the inventory mostly the same and just focus on being present every day for the regular customers.
