Our yard is in Loha Mandi, Naraina, at Z-117-118. If you have ever been to Loha Mandi, you know it’s a place of heavy metal and constant noise. Balkishan Dass Subhash Chand Ispat (P) Ltd. has been part of this landscape for a long time. It’s a family name, and we take that seriously, even if the office is just a small room with some old metal desks and a loud ceiling fan. There are stacks of iron and steel everywhere you look. It’s dirty work, and your hands are always black by the end of the shift. We deal with contractors and builders who need material fast. The trucks come in and out all day, kicking up clouds of grey dust that settles on everything. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy logo. Most people know us because they’ve been buying from my uncle or my father for twenty years. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit disorganized, but we know our inventory by heart. We don’t try to act like a big corporation even though the "Private Limited" is in the name. We are just local guys in Naraina who know steel. It’s a tough business and the market prices change every day, which is a headache, but we just deal with it one truckload at a time. The work is hard but it's what we know how to do.
