We are over at 16/1, Doctors Lane. It’s tucked away in the Gole Market area. Ascetic Cottage Arts Pvt. Ltd. has been at this address for quite a bit. Doctors Lane is a bit quieter than the main roads nearby, which we appreciate for the peace. It’s got a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it that suits us. Gole Market itself is such a classic part of the city. We like being in a spot that has some history. Our place isn’t flashy at all. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the arts side of things. There’s usually a bit of dust because of all the items we move around and store, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. The rooms are a bit small and the lighting is a little dim in the back, but it works fine for us. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one so people don’t walk past the entrance. It’s a very grounded sort of place. We spend our days surrounded by the things we handle, and it feels right being in an old lane like this. It’s not a corporate office park; it’s just a building on a lane where we do our thing. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just keeping the business going. There is a stray dog that usually sleeps near our front step, and we've started giving it scraps. It's just a normal day here. The floor tiles are a bit cracked by the desk.
