Arihant Metals

Arihant Metals is over in the Jhilmil Industrial Area. We are on Street No 6 in Friends Colony, specifically at 29/30 B. If you’ve ever been to Jhilmil, you know it can get pretty packed with trucks and small tempos. Our street is no different. We deal with metal all day long, mostly loading and unloading stuff. The space we have is filled with different grades of metal and it’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes to find exactly what a customer wants in the back. We use a lot of old ledgers to keep track of what’s coming in and going out, though we have a computer now too. The neighbors are mostly other metal shops or small workshops, so there’s a lot of banging and clanging sounds all day. We usually have tea together in the mornings before the real work starts. The building itself is an old industrial structure, nothing fancy, just sturdy walls and a big gate. It gets really hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we have some big fans that help a bit. We don't do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have been buying from us for a long time. They know where to find us on Street Number 6. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure we don't mix up the piles of metal we keep in the back.
