Yash Sugars

We are over here at the APMC Complex in Vashi. If you know Market 1 in Phase II, that's where you'll find us at J-23. It's a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the big trucks are coming in and out from all over. Yash Sugars has been around this part of Sector-19 for quite a long time now. Dealing with sugar means we spend a lot of our day looking at heavy bags and talking to various suppliers on the phone. It gets quite dusty around the warehouse floor, but that's just part of the daily work we do. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we have a bit of a rhythm. We handle the orders as they come in and try to get things moved out onto the trucks quickly so nothing sits around in the heat for too long. The market is always loud, and there’s always someone looking for a specific grade of sugar or a certain quantity for their shop. We don't really do any fancy stuff here, just keep the operations running from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the traffic near the sector is a complete mess, especially during the monsoon, but we manage. If you’re walking through the complex, you might see us near the main loading area. It’s a very simple setup we’ve got. We just focus on the sugar stocks we have and make sure the accounts are right. It isn't a flashy office, just a practical space for a wholesale business in a major trading hub.
