Rice World Exports

We spend most of our time down at the APMC market in Vashi. If you’ve ever been to Phase-II, you know how it gets with the trucks and the noise. Our spot is at S/8 in Market-II, Sector-19. It isn't a fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the work done. We handle a lot of rice exports, so there are always bags moving in and out. Most mornings start pretty early, usually before the sun is really up, because that’s when the logistics happen. It can get a bit chaotic with the traffic around the market, but we’re used to it. The team here just focuses on checking the stock and making sure the orders are ready to go. We don’t really have time for big speeches about what we do. We just pack the grain, deal with the paperwork, and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult with the loading, but we manage. People stop by the office to talk business or just to check on their shipments. It's a lot of manual work and keeping track of numbers on bits of paper. We’ve been in this sector for a while now, so we know the neighbors and the way the market flows throughout the seasons. It’s just how we live and work every day. We don't need any big titles or corporate goals. We just want to get through the day's tasks and make sure the containers are filled right.
