You’ll find us over at Ratnam Square in Vashi, specifically at Plot 38 and 39 in Sector 19A. Sacmi Impianti India has been operating out of this unit for some time now. We work with industrial machinery and plant systems, mostly acting as the local point for technical support and sales. Vashi is a good location because it’s easy to get to different parts of Navi Mumbai from here. The office is pretty functional with some spare parts sitting in boxes in the corner and a lot of technical manuals on the shelves. We have a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping with a technical query. The building is usually buzzing with other businesses, so there’s a lot of coming and going in the hallways. We drink a lot of tea and spend a good portion of our day on the phone with various factory managers. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s important for keeping production lines moving. We don't bother with a lot of decorations or corporate branding inside. It’s just a place where we come to work and help our customers get their equipment sorted. We’ve seen the sector change over the years, but the basic need for reliable machines stays the same. We just show up and do the job.
