Out in the TTC Industrial Area, specifically at Plot D- 364 in M.I.D.C, Kukshet, you’ll find the home of Pradeep Agrofood Products Private Limited. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise from trucks and other businesses nearby. It is a dusty area, but that’s just part of being in an industrial belt. Our building is solid and built for purpose. We spend a lot of our time on the warehouse floor or in the small office area checking schedules. There isn’t much in the way of decoration here. We have some calendars on the wall and a whiteboard that is usually covered in scribbles and dates. The staff here knows the routine by heart. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute and we all just wait for the generator to kick in so we can get back to it. We don't have a PR team or anyone to make us look more important than we are. We are just a group of people at Plot D- 364 who work with food products and try to get everything right. It’s tough work sometimes, especially when the heat picks up in the middle of the day, but we get through it. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we do, and we’ve been doing it for a long time now.
