Shyam Rice Mill

Shyam Rice Mill is over at Plot No-603 in the A-Wing of Mantri Residency in Kamothe. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a rice mill since we’re part of a residency area, but we make it work. We handle a lot of rice every day, making sure it’s cleaned and ready for whoever needs it. The space isn't huge, so we have to stay very organized or everything would be a mess in no time. We’ve got a small crew of workers who know exactly what they’re doing. You’ll usually see us moving bags around or checking the quality of the grain. It’s hard on the back sometimes, and the air is often full of the smell of raw rice. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward operation. We get the rice in, we do our work, and we send it back out. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but we try to keep things quiet during the early hours. We don't spend time on social media or trying to look fancy. We just focus on the grain. People in Kamothe know where we are if they need us. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve become a regular part of the neighborhood. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that’s just how we like to keep it.
