At Kento Foods Pvt Ltd, we’ve been operating out of the APMC Masala Market in Vashi for some time now. Specifically, you can find us at H43 in Sector 19. If you know the market, you know it is a pretty hectic place every single morning. There are trucks coming in and laborers moving sacks of spices all over the place. We just try to keep our head down and get the work done. Dealing with food products in such a big wholesale hub means there is never a quiet moment. Most days are spent checking inventory or talking to the other traders around us. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. It is a functional space where we handle the business of getting food items sorted and out to where they need to go. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but the basic way things work here stays the same. People come in, they want their stuff on time, and we do what we can to make that happen. Sometimes the traffic in Sector 19 is a nightmare, so we have to plan our deliveries around that. It is just the reality of working in such a busy part of Vashi. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just a few of us here making sure the orders are right. We focus on the daily tasks and try to stay organized among all the noise and dust of the masala market.
