Fragola Ingredients

Fragola Ingredients is run out of Flat No. 75 in Building No. 11 at Vijay Nagari. It’s a bit different than a standard commercial office because it’s a residential building, so it has a much more personal feel. You have to go through the main gate and past the security to get to us. The flat is basically our hub. One room is filled with samples and jars of different ingredients, while the main hall has been converted into a workspace with a few computers and a printer that occasionally jams. It’s usually quiet here, except for when the neighbors' kids are playing in the hallway or when we are arguing over which invoice goes where. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who come to see us usually already know the way. We spend a lot of time researching and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the smell of different food extracts fills the room, which makes it a nice place to sit. We keep the curtains drawn during the middle of the day to keep the sun out. It’s a simple operation. There are no fancy boardrooms here, just a kitchen where we make our own coffee and a small balcony where we take breaks. It’s comfortable and it allows us to focus on the details of what we are sourcing without the distractions of a busy industrial park. We just take things one day at a time.
