Samarth Engineering is tucked away at Plot No. B/8 in the Satpur MIDC area. If you know where the ITI Singhal is, we’re right near there. It’s a busy spot with plenty of other workshops around. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time, dealing with all the daily ups and downs of running a machine shop. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get the jobs done right so we don't have to redo them later. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much sometimes, but we have a couple of big fans going to keep the air moving through the bays. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings and setting up the equipment. It’s mostly manual work, and our hands are rarely clean. We know most of the neighbors on this street and sometimes swap tools when someone is in a pinch. It’s a tight-knit place. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a front desk person. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands on a rag and talks to whoever walks in. It’s simple and straightforward. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to keep the machines running smooth. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in out of nowhere.
