We’ve been dealing with machinery and tools for quite a few years now. It’s a loud place sometimes because we have to test the equipment before it goes out. We sell various types of lathe machines and drills for small workshops. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings. It’s a real workshop environment. We aren't a showroom with glass windows and air conditioning. People come here when they need a tool that works and won’t break down easily. I spent a lot of my life learning about how these machines run, so I can usually tell what’s wrong just by listening to the motor. We have a small crew of mechanics who help with the heavy stuff. Manmad Road is a major route, so we get a lot of trucks passing by all day. It’s a bit gritty and industrial around here, but that’s where this kind of business belongs. We don't do any fancy sales pitches or marketing. We just show the machine, turn it on, and let the customer decide if it’s right for them. Most of our tools are built to last. We focus on the practical side of things. If someone needs a spare part, we usually have it buried somewhere in the back room. It’s a busy life, but it’s good work. I think staying local and knowing your stuff matters most in this trade.
