Kirloskar Brothers Ltd Pune

Even though the name says Pune, we are actually out here in Mandave, Solapur. It’s a bit of a drive, but this is where the work happens for us. Being Kirloskar Brothers Ltd in this part of Maharashtra means we are mostly dealing with the rural side of things. The 413111 area is our home. The shop is practical. We have what we need to get through the day, mostly tools and stacks of equipment. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where we load trucks and check invoices manually. Some days are quieter than others, depending on the season. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone chips in. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us does it. We don't worry about titles much. The sun beats down on Solapur, but we’ve got a good roof over our heads. People stop by when they need parts for their irrigation or whatever project is going on. We don't do the whole "customer is king" speech, we just try to be decent and give them what they need at a fair pace. It’s a bit dusty, and the paperwork can get messy, but that's life. We’ve been in Mandave for a while now. It’s a steady rhythm. No rush, just getting the orders right and keeping things moving along.
