We are located at Shivaji Chowk in Nashik. Our specific spot is N-3/L-91, and that is where we do all our engineering work. Nashik is a busy place, and being near the chowk means there is always a lot of movement outside. Chishty Engg. is basically a place where we handle mechanical stuff and technical projects. It’s a bit greasy and loud sometimes because of the machines, but that’s how an engineering shop should be. We aren't sitting in a quiet office with carpets. We are on the floor, looking at parts and making sure everything fits together like it’s supposed to. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years. We don't talk much about innovation; we just fix what is broken and build what is needed for the local factories. If someone brings in a part that needs turning or a frame that needs welding, we get to it. The shop can get quite dusty, and we usually have tea in the afternoons to take a break. It’s a local operation, and we know most of the other business owners around Shivaji Chowk. We’ve been part of this community for a while. There’s no big secret to how we work. We just show up, do the engineering tasks on the list, and go home when the work is finished for the day.
