Running Savona Agro Export out of Flat No -5 in Devshari Apartment keeps us on our toes. It’s a small office but we handle a lot of shipments from here. The main room is full of desks and there’s always a printer humming somewhere. Since we’re in an apartment, we try to keep things professional so we don’t bother the families living nearby. Agro exports are tricky because you have to worry about seasons and shipping delays. We spend a lot of our morning calling agents and checking if the trucks reached the port. It’s a lot of coordination. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have to store physical samples for testing. We have a routine where we start with the most urgent emails first thing. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just have to wait, which is frustrating when deadlines are close. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. It’s not a corporate tower with a view, but it’s our base. We know the security guards at the gate and the delivery guys by name. We’ve had to learn everything about customs and logistics by doing it ourselves. It’s been a long journey from when we started. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in this flat, making sure the goods get where they need to go. Every day brings a new set of challenges to solve.
