Atharwaagro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is located at Sukshanti Bungalow in Shivaji Nagar, Nashik. We are right across from the Fame Theatre, which makes it easy for people to find us when they come into town. Even though we are in a bungalow in the city, our hearts and our work are in the fields. We deal with a lot of grape and onion farmers from around the district. We started this because we wanted to see if we could get a better handle on how our produce is sold. The office is where we do the boring stuff like the taxes and the registrations. Most of the real work happens out at the farms. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to different buyers and trying to coordinate the harvests. It can get pretty stressful when the weather changes suddenly, which happens a lot in Nashik. We aren't a corporate office with a lot of staff in suits. We are just people who grew up on farms and decided to try something a bit different to help our community. Sometimes we have tea and spend two hours just talking about the price of crates or the new laws. It’s a very practical and simple way of doing things. We just want to make sure that the hard work of farming pays off in the end.
