Onkar Engineering Works

You can find Onkar Engineering Works over at Gokul Nagar. We’re in Shop No-20, which is right near the old Mahesh Cinema. That cinema is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We’ve been in this shop for a long time, and it’s where we do all our engineering and repair work. It’s a typical local workshop—no air conditioning, just fans and the sound of metal being worked on. We have a lot of tools scattered around, but there’s a system to the mess. Most of our customers are locals or businesses from the nearby area who have something that needs fixing or fabricating. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a few of us who know our way around a machine. The neighborhood is usually quite busy, especially with the shops around the cinema area, so there’s always something happening outside. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just open up the shop, take in the work, and get it done as best as we can. Sometimes we’re backed up with projects, but we try to keep moving through the pile. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the engineering side of things. If you walk past Shop No-20, you’ll likely hear us working away.
