General Engineering Corporation

You can find us at Aditya Pur Chowk, in the Mishra Centre. We’re in Office No-5. It’s a pretty busy spot, right where several roads meet, so there’s never a quiet moment with all the horns and traffic. General Engineering Corporation has been operating from this little office for quite some years. We don't have much in the way of decoration. The walls are lined with shelves full of old technical manuals and rolled-up blueprints. We have a couple of sturdy desks and some chairs for when people come in to talk about a project. It’s an engineering place, so there’s always a calculator or a drafting tool lying around. We handle a lot of mechanical designs and help people figure out how to build or fix their equipment. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of departments. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to one of the two or three people who are in the office that day. We know the Mishra Centre like the back of our hands. The tea shop downstairs is where we get our morning break. We don't really do any advertising. Most of our work comes from people in the area who have known us for a long time. It’s just honest engineering work. We look at the problems, draw up some solutions, and try to be as practical as possible about the costs and the time it will take.
