Ferrite Industries

Down in the Sinnar Cooperative Industrial Estate in Nashik, you’ll find us at C-70. Ferrite Industries has been our second home for a long time. Sinnar is a bit away from the main city, so it’s got its own pace. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the factory floor can get pretty warm once the machines start humming. We work with ferrite materials, which means everything usually has a bit of a gray dust over it by the end of the shift. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a small crew and most of us have worked together for years. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on making sure the machines are running and the output is what it should be. Sometimes the raw materials are late or a machine breaks down, and we all have to jump in to fix it together. That’s just part of the daily routine here. We eat our lunch together in the small break area and talk about the local news or the cricket scores. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We’re just a small industrial unit in Nashik doing our bit every day, year after year.
