Baglanshetkari Agri Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our small company operates out of house number 167/1/2/3 in Taharabad. It belongs to Sanjay Bhamare, who is one of the folks involved in getting this whole thing started. We are based in the Baglan area of Satana. Most people around here call us Baglanshetkari because that’s who we are—farmers from the Baglan region. We decided to put our resources together because farming on your own can be pretty lonely and difficult when it comes to finding buyers. It's much easier when you have a few heads together. We don't have a big fancy building, just a room where we keep our records and meet to chat about the crops. The weather in this part of Nashik district can be unpredictable, so we talk a lot about that. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the agricultural work we do pays off for the local families. A few of us handle the paperwork and the rest of us are mostly in the fields. It’s a simple setup. If you come to Taharabad, you’ll find us easily enough. We’re just regular people who work hard and want to see our community do okay. It takes a lot of time to get everything right, and we make mistakes sometimes, but we keep at it. Farming is hard work, but doing it together makes it feel a bit lighter. Being based at Sanjay’s house makes it feel more like a family thing than a business. We often have kids running around while we talk fertilizer prices.
