Nashik is a busy place, especially around Phoenix Apartment. We are Asiatic Agro Food Industry Private Limited and we’ve been set up here at Flat 4E for a bit. It’s not a huge fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the work done. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic from Sr No 1023/A, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just us looking over files and talking to suppliers. Nashik is known for its agriculture, so being in this industry feels right. We handle a lot of different food products and it’s always a bit of a rush during the harvest seasons. Some days are slow, just waiting for calls or checking the inventory lists on the computer. Then other days, everybody is running around and the phone won't stop ringing. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us grew up around these parts, so we know how the local markets work. It’s not always easy, things get delayed or the weather doesn't help, but that's just how the food business goes. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist, usually it’s just one of us opening the door if someone knocks. We try to keep things simple and honest. Dealing with agro stuff means you’re always thinking about the farmers and the crops. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s just us doing our thing in this part of Maharashtra.
