Parvatiya Vikas Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Dhaura. We operate out of Bhuwan Chandra’s place in Guna Paudhar. It is a small setup, just like the other farms around here. We are basically a collection of neighbors who decided to pool our resources. Bhuwan Chandra handles most of the coordination from his home. It’s easier that way since we are all out in the fields most of the time anyway. Guna Paudhar is a quiet area. We don't get many visitors from outside the district. Our company is about the people who live and work in Dhaura. We grow things, we harvest them, and we try to find the best way to get them to market. It is a lot of trial and error. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just have our names and our work. The Parvatiya Vikas name means something to us because it’s about the development of our mountain region. But we aren't big talkers. We’d rather be working the land than sitting in a meeting. If you need us, you'll likely find someone at the house in Dhaura. Life is simple here, and we try to keep the business side of things simple too. It’s just us, the soil, and the crops we manage to grow every year. It keeps us quite busy throughout the seasons.
