Lastar Hilain Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers located over in Kothiyanda village. It is a quiet spot near the Barseer post office. Our office, if you want to call it that, is just a room at Sundar Lal’s place. We started Lastar Hilain Farmers Producer Company Limited because doing everything by yourself is getting harder every year. Most of us here have small plots of land where we grow vegetables and some grain. We grew up around these hills and we know the soil well. Sometimes it treats us good and sometimes the rain doesn't show up when it should. We share our ideas about what to plant and we try to buy our supplies together to save a bit of money. It’s not a big corporate thing at all. It is just local people trying to make things work. You won't find any fancy signs or receptionists here. Just us in our regular clothes, usually with some dirt on our boots. We meet up in the evenings sometimes to talk about the market prices or if someone’s tractor needs a part. It feels right to work together like this. We handle the paperwork at the village and send our mail through Barseer. We aren't looking to become famous or anything. We just want to keep our farms running and maybe make life a little easier for our families. It is honest work and we are proud of it.
