Jharipani Castle Resort,Mussoorie

We are based in the Mayur Vihar Colony in Talli Haldwani, which is in the Nainital district of Uttaranchal. Even though our name mentions Mussoorie, this is the office where we handle the day-to-day management. It is a family-run operation, and we have been working in the hills for a long time. The office itself is just a simple room in a larger building. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone about room availability and what the weather is like up here. Uttaranchal is a beautiful place, but it can be a lot of work to keep a resort running properly. We have to make sure the kitchen is stocked and that the rooms are clean for whoever is arriving. Many of our guests have been coming to stay with us for years, so it feels like seeing old friends. We do not have a big team or any fancy marketing people. It is just us and a few helpers. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the rainy season, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the entrance. In the winter, it gets quite cold, and we have to use small heaters to stay warm while we work. It is a quiet life, mostly focused on the property and making sure the people who visit have a place to sleep and something to eat. We just take things one day at a time and keep everything going.
