Kanara Hotel Pvt. Ltd. is where we work, and you can find us at the Radhey Krishana Banquet Hall. We’re situated near Vikas Bhawan in Bhimtal, which is in the Nainital district. It’s a really nice part of the world, though the hills can make travel a bit slow sometimes. We spend most of our time getting the banquet hall ready for different events. One day it might be a big wedding with hundreds of people, and the next it’s just a small local meeting. We also have the hotel rooms to look after. They aren't fancy, just simple and clean places for people to stay while they are visiting Bhimtal. We have a small staff of local folks who help with the cooking, cleaning, and setting everything up. Being near Vikas Bhawan makes us easy to find for people coming into town. We don't have any corporate training or big manuals. We just try to treat people decently and make sure the food is good and the rooms are tidy. The weather up here can be a bit unpredictable, so we’ve had to deal with our share of leaks or power cuts over the years. We just take it as it comes. It has a family-run kind of feel even though we are a private limited company. We just keep our heads down and keep the place running.
