We are located over at Bisht Bhavan in the Gandhi Colony area of Bhowali. It is a quiet spot, right near where the old post office used to be. Living in Nainital district means you get used to the hills and the changing weather every day. Our team is just a handful of local people who know the roads and the best spots for tea around here. We registered the company as DRISANA HOLIDAY & RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED because we wanted to have a proper name for the rooms we look after. Bhowali is a bit different from the main Nainital town because it is more of a junction, so we see people coming from all directions. Some stay for a night while heading up further, and others stay longer to just breathe the air. The office doesn't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we handle bookings and talk to the staff about what needs fixing. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most people around Gandhi Colony know us by face. We don't spend much on ads. Usually, someone tells a friend about us, or a traveler stops by because they saw the sign near the old post office. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just try to keep the rooms clean and make sure there is enough water and tea for everyone who visits. The monkeys sometimes sit on the roof, which is quite common here.
