Jamia Jawaril Fatima

Our place is right in the heart of Mominpura in Nagpur. It’s a very active neighborhood, always something happening on the streets outside. Jamia Jawaril Fatima is a spot where the community comes together. The building fits right in with the others on the block. It’s not a huge campus, but every room is used for something important. We have students coming in throughout the day. Some stay for a while, others just come for specific lessons. The sounds of the market and the traffic are always in the background here. Inside, things are a bit calmer. We have mats and books spread out in the rooms. It feels very much like a local neighborhood center. The walls are simple, and we don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of the people who work here live just a few streets away. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a practical setup for the families in 440018. We don't have a big marketing plan or a corporate office. We just do our work day by day. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets too hot, but we just carry on with the lessons. It’s an honest, local place that has been part of Mominpura for a long time. If you walk down the main road here, you’ll eventually pass our doors.
