Glow Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

Our place is at Plot No 528 on Hudkeshwar Road in Nagpur, right in Ashirwad Nagar. We are sitting right opposite the Hanuman Temple, so it’s very easy to find even if you aren't from this neighborhood. Glow Beauty Parlour & Training Centre is a bit different because we don’t just do threading and facials, we also teach younger girls how to do it. There are usually a few students around watching how I work or practicing on each other in the back. It’s a lively environment with a lot of talking and learning going on. The traffic on Hudkeshwar Road can be quite loud, but the temple bells across the street are a nice sound to hear in the evenings. I started this because I wanted a way for local women to learn a skill they could use. We don't have fancy leather chairs or air conditioning that works all the time, but we have enough fans to keep it cool. The training part of the business is important to me, but we still have our regular clients who come in for their monthly visits. They know if they come on a Tuesday, it might be a bit crowded with the classes. It’s a practical space where we focus on doing the work right. We use products that are reliable and affordable for everyone who walks through the door. It’s a busy, noisy, and happy little shop.
