A. R. Steel

A.R. Steel is located on C.A. Road, right near the Gitanjali Talkies and the Khan Masjid. It’s a very old part of town and it’s always crowded. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with steel and metal. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of inventory in there. You’ll see pipes, sheets, and rods leaning against the walls. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks. It’s heavy work. Sometimes we have to help customers figure out exactly how much steel they need for a small construction job or a repair. We don't have a big sales team. It’s usually just a couple of us at the counter and the boys moving the heavy stuff. The noise from C.A. Road is constant, with horns and people shouting, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just sell steel at a fair price and try to be helpful when someone walks in. The masjid is a good landmark for finding us if you’re coming from the main road. We keep regular hours, usually opening up after the morning rush and staying open until it gets dark. It’s a simple business run by people who know their metal. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide the steel people need for their projects.
