If you’re looking for us, we’re right on Anikethana Road in Kuvempunagar. It’s a pretty decent part of Mysore, and we’ve been operating from this spot for quite a bit. The college is mostly about getting your hands dirty with machines and tools. We don’t have those huge glass buildings, just regular classrooms and workshops where the real work happens. You’ll see students in their uniforms messing around with wiring or welding equipment most of the time. It gets noisy when the practical classes are on, but that’s just how an ITI works. The teachers here know their stuff from years of doing it themselves, so they don’t just talk from books. They show the kids how to fix things or set up circuits. Sometimes the equipment is a bit old, but it works fine for learning. We have people coming in from all over Mysore and nearby villages because they want a job that involves technical skills. It’s a straightforward place. You come in, you learn a trade, and you try to get your certification. The atmosphere is casual, and everyone pretty much knows each other. In the evenings, things quiet down after the last bell rings and the students head back home or to the local shops nearby. It’s a practical environment for anyone who prefers doing things rather than just sitting at a desk.
