Vijay Driving School

Vijay Driving School is located at 1216 Kantharaj Urs Road in Mysore. We are pretty easy to find since we are near Ballal Circle, which is a major point in the city. 570004 is our pin code if you are looking it up. Being near the circle means there is always a lot of traffic, which is actually kind of good because our students get used to the real chaos of Mysore roads right from the start. We have a couple of cars that we use for the lessons. They aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained and safe enough for beginners. Most of our day is spent sitting in the passenger seat, keeping a foot near the extra brake and trying to stay calm while someone learns how to use a clutch. It can be a bit stressful, especially when the roads are wet or it’s rush hour, but we’ve been doing this long enough that it doesn't bother us much. We aren't a big franchise with a fleet of dozens of cars. We are just a local school where you can come and talk to us directly. We don't have any fancy simulators or high-tech classrooms. We just get in the car and drive. It’s the best way to learn, really. We’ve taught a lot of people in this town, from young kids getting their first license to older folks who finally decided to learn how to handle a vehicle.
